International School Subject Teacher
Location: Beijing
School Type: International School

Basic Info
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 to 17:30
2. Class Size: Maximum class size of 24 students
3. Teaching Hours: Approximately 15-20 classes, or no more than 24 hours per week

Job Description
1. Design and Follow complete teaching plans
2. Undertake a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
3. Assess children’s performance and progress to ensure they are mastering skills on a regular basis
4. Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
5. Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations
6. Engage in weekly meetings with the rest of the staff to discuss children’s progress, lesson planning and weekly reflection to stimulate improvement opportunities
10.Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
11.Bi-yearly parents’ meetings to discuss progress of their child throughout the year
12.Communicate via Wechat groups with parents to help aid progression outside of class

Requirements
1.For Elementary School positions a Bachelor’s Degree at least
2.For High School positions a Master’s Degree at least, major in English or education
3.One year of relative teaching experience
4.AP, A-level experiences are required for subject teachers.

Salary & Compensation
1. Salary Range:22,000 RMB to 23,000 RMB before tax
2. Insurance: Basic private health insurance for the full contract length
3. Housing Allowance: Free apartment on campus or housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
4. Flight Reimbursement: A return flight will be paid for at the end of each academic year, with a maximum cost of 10,000 RMB
5. Visa Reimbursement: Z-VISA fee upon arrival
6. Contract completion bonus: There will be a competitive contractual bonus available, or we can sponsor further academic qualifications throughout the duration of the contract
