I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois with a bachelors in Economics and Global Studies, and minors in Portuguese and Spanish. I have one academic year of experience teaching English in French public schools (in middle school, high school, and post-high professional programs) as a participant in the TAPIF program (Teaching Assistant Program in France). I am fluent in English (native), as well as Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan and French. I am also interested in learning Mandarin Chinese, but am currently a beginner. I would prefer to teach older learners, such as high school students, college students and adults. I am willing to work towards a TEFL certificate and/or teaching license if necessary for a teaching position.
