My name is Lady Ann Dimailig, an English teacher with 4 years of teaching experience as an English teacher in primary and secondary. I am currently teaching at Science and Technology School of Los Baños in Laguna, Philippines. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Laguna University in Laguna, Philippines last June 11, 2019. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in English at Laguna State Polytechnic University in Laguna, Philippines from July 2020 – present with 36 Academic units. I see myself as a creative and resourceful teacher. I believe that in order for learning to be effective, students need to be involved in the learning process by providing effective teaching strategies and utilizing technology to adapt to the needs of 21st-century learners. As an English teacher, I make sure my students have a meaningful learning experience by providing varied opportunities to explore and improve their English communication skills both in written and oral language. I want my students to improve their confidence in using the English language through meaningful learning activities and presentations. I create varied learning opportunities to meet the needs of 21st-century learners using instructional technology. I also correspond with parents and ensure students’ welfare, performance, and achievement. I always make sure I maintain good classroom management where students are heard and thrive. Finally, I work closely with the other teachers to ensure all avenues of the curriculum are met and delivered lessons to the students. I am a team player.
