English Teacher / Performer for Melody Publishing in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Job Description:
As an English Teacher / Performer, you will be doing teaching performances for various company products and books. The expectation of this role is to provide high-energy, dramatic, and entertaining teaching through various media: live online teaching, video filming, and photography. Teaching performances will take place in green rooms or on studio sets. The viewing audience will include both children and adults.

All lesson content and resources will be provided by the company. You will work with a Taiwanese Teaching Assistant (TA) to prepare the lesson and performance. You will preview lesson plans and performance outlines in coordination with your TA. You will plan and prepare teaching aids, props, and costumes in coordination with your TA. Each teaching performance may have different teams and different project managers.

You will educate as well as entertain. Live lessons may have from twenty to hundreds of children and adult viewers. You will be required to do your own hair and make-up for all teaching performances. You will be required to attend in-person project meetings, live dress rehearsals, and online video conference calls with cooperating team members prior to any teaching performance.

Job Requirements:
> Native speaker of American or Canadian English
> ARC or other valid visa
> Outgoing, energetic personality
> Teaching experience is preferred but not required

Time: Every Wednesday, 6 PM-9 PM
Payment: 700 TWD/hr
Location: 7F, No. 16, Beiping 2nd Street, San Min District, Kaohsiung City
