Our fourth and fifth-grade students are separated for their academic courses between two teachers. The curriculum used for the children is from the US, except for an hour each day for Mandarin language studies.

The position calls for the homeroom responsibilities for grade 4 and about two hours per day for Language Arts for each grade level. Another teacher from the US covers Math, Science, and Social Studies, with about 2 hours per day for each grade level.

Spelling Class: Bob Jones Press Worktext

Reading Class: Scott Foresman Celebrate Reading 1997, MCP Phonics Worktext, and Wordly Wise Worktexts for grades 4 and 5
Homeroom duties include:

Morning devotionals.

Accompanying students to and from their nonacademic classes.

A 30-minute daily Bible class.

Lunch and recess supervision.

Daily written contact with parents.
