Hello. I have experience teaching English both abroad and in the United States. I worked full-time for a year at an English language institution in Cuenca, Ecuador called CEDEI (Centro de Estudios Interamericanos). There I taught daily classes to working adults, secondary and middle school students and college students. I also taught private lessons to students. Further, I also worked full-time for a year at a public elementary school in greater Portland, Oregon, USA. I taught reading and writing skills in small groups in grades K-5. Lastly, I have experience as a private language teacher/tutor in the USA and in Canada. (Through platforms such as Tutor.com and Craigslist). I have a TEFL certificate from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. I am a native English speaker. I am looking for teaching opportunities at language schools, part-time or full-time. I like working with all ages. I would prefer a city that is not a huge metropolis. I would like to maintain and improve my teaching skills and save some money.
