I am a native English-speaking Canadian citizen, a recent graduate of a 168-hour Level 5 TELF Certificate with the TELF Academy, UK and hold a three-year undergraduate's degree. I am well-travelled, having visited and or lived in over 30 countries. I have a passion for meeting new people, embracing different cultures and diving into new experiences. My determination and curiosity have led me to live and work abroad in Paris, France where I managed a small team in a 5 Start Hotel speaking in both English and French. With an abundant number of years in the customer service industry, my ability to perform extremely well under pressure while remaining composed, engaged and maintaining my effervescent personality is second to none. From managing, coaching and teaching staff of over 50+, I am confident that I have the ability to teach the young minds and be the best role model possible for them. I will continue to grow and be inspired by the people that I surround myself with, and teaching would not only fulfil me, it would also give me the opportunity to expand and nourish the lives of my students. I look forward to creating exciting lessons that motivate and engage to learn effectively. My proven adaptability to other cultures, experiences, as well as learning and working in other languages has given me a deeper understanding of what it takes to teach a language.
