I am originally from Delhi, the capital of India. I performed well in school examinations, particularly the sciences and secured a good rank in the high school, thereby grabbing a position to pursue my bachelor’s (2010-2013) and master’s (2013-2015) degree in Physics from Miranda House, University of Delhi, which is one of the most prestigious college of the country, holding rank one in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). During my bachelors I have been a recipient of Meera Singla Memorial Award for securing highest marks in academic session 2012-13. I also conducted various projects at the summer workshop organized by DS Kothari Centre for Research and Innovation, Miranda House, University of Delhi and received certificate of appreciation for participating as a mentor in the Inspire Internship Programme 2012. In 2015, after completing my master’s degree I passed the Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) and awarded with Junior Research Fellowship funded by Defence Research and Development Organisation to carry out my research project. I cleared the national level lectureship exam and received certificate of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Lectureship (CSIR-LS) in December, 2015 with an All India Rank-32. Currently, I am a Ph.D. scholar in Physics at University of Delhi with almost 6 years of research experience and about to submit my thesis in a month. During my Ph.D. I have presented my research work as first author in seven International and two National conferences, and grabbed prizes for best presentation in few of them. I have nine publications in peer reviewed international journals with a good impact factor of greater than 3 for most of them. While pursuing my doctoral degree, I started teaching many undergraduate students from 2016. Also, I was selected as an Intern under TEEP@AsiaPlus six months internship program in 2018 at National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan (in collaboration with Prof. Yung-Kang Kuo). Personally, in the context of my studies, I had the opportunity to gain substantial professional experience in Taiwan in my area of interest through this TEEP@AsiaPlus program. I must mention the broad academic curriculum offered within a high-quality education system, the efficiently operating administration and infrastructure, and, above all, the international environment. The caring and friendly nature of Taiwanese people helped me in adjusting to a new environment and made my experience memorable.
