I am a Foreign English Teacher from Cape Town, South Africa. While I was completing my BAhons in film studies I began working as a private tutor, tutoring high-school students in high school English. It was here that I discovered my passion for teaching and in 2019, I undertook a 120 hour in-class hour TESOL certification and a 40 hour TEYLT certification. There after I traveled to Beijing and taught English at a public middle school from September 2019 to December 2020. I really enjoyed teaching at the high school, and the experience living in Beijing was good especially as one of my majors in University was Mandarin. I visited Taiwan in 2018 for a vacation and fell in love with the culture, food and nature and I hope to continue my teaching experience there teaching adults or high school students.
