My name is Brenda. I graduated in college at Bicol University Legazpi City with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I am a professional licensed teacher with several teaching training certifications and 15 years of direct teaching experience. I also have 120hrs. TESOL certificate. I started my career as a substitute teacher for 5 years. During those years, I had a chance to be exposed to different kinds of learners and have enjoyed the opportunity to teach a diverse group of children. These experiences helped me blossom into a well-rounded and compassionate individual who takes into account students' individual needs and interests. My recent job since I resigned as a public school teacher was as an English tutor to one of the great Chinese families in Qingdao, China. As a teacher, I am an enthusiastic and passionate person. Whatever I have to do, I give it my best shot. I love and enjoy working with the kids where I can make a big difference in their growth and learning journey. I am very patient, creative, resourceful, engaging, and supportive to my students as this is a vital period in a child’s learning development. I am also adaptable and flexible in terms of how I teach children, as not all of them learn the same way.
