It is with a greatest delight that I am writing to apply for ESL teacher position. With over 4years’ experience of teaching English First Additional Language in South Africa, which is similar as ESL, I am self-reliant that I can play a huge role in helping your school continues to deliver excellence in teaching and learning. During my years of study in the university, I was mentoring the first and second years students in year 2015and 2016. In the first year of employment I continue to study for my Honours Degree in Education which I obtained in 2018. I currently work as an enthusiastic teacher of English for grade 10, 11 and 12, also a Lead English teacher in Further Education and Training in my school. In this role I am responsible for more than 40 learners in classrooms, which has allowed me to refine my skills handling extreme behavioral issues, while maintaining a focused class. I believe in inclusive learning, learner centered lessons. I prepare and provide grade-relevant learning activities, tests (provincial and national) that enable students to learn the principles of the English language including the rules of grammar and syntax, to develop an understanding and appreciation of literature, and to advance students' verbal and written communication abilities. I am looking for a school which will offer me support, offer a new challenge for progress, improve my career experience, accommodative staff towards foreigners. I would like to be in a school where I will able to have a positive impact on my learners and to be able to help reach their potentials.
