Hello! My name is Ruth. I'm an American ESL teacher living in Singapore. After getting my bachelor's degree in Psychology, I spent a few years being a stay at home mom -- and finding my passion in raising bilingual children! Along the way I learned Mandarin myself as well. When my children were old enough, I started working part time as an ESL teacher. I earned a CELTA certificate and taught adults for 2 years, before switching to teaching children online for the past year. Now I am in the process of getting my US teaching license for elementary students, and expect to have it by the end of 2020. I am looking for a full-time position. I would love to join a team of educators at an elementary school in Taiwan!
