My name is Rena Lou R. Busano. I have just earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and major in General Education at Liceo de Cagayan University last March 2019 and I just passed the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers last December 01, 2019. I completed my practice teaching internship at Liceo de Cagayan University- Grade School Department and at Kauswagan Central School. My five months of internship in the said schools brought me much learning especially in giving instruction and supervision. I have had the opportunity to fill in as a substitute and teach children in the absence of the concerned teaching staff. Also, I have been a volunteer teacher in the Children of Gugma sa Kabataan Inc. As a lover of young children, I must express my interest in the teaching position at your school. I have been a private tutor of four children since November 2018 and up until July 2020. I am deeply passionate about education and the future of our children, and I am fully committed to providing the highest level of teaching possible. I understand how to interact with young children on a deep level, and I am aware of their unique needs. My focus lies in ensuring that children balance learning with fun in the classroom, building confidence in their own abilities. I maintain a positive atmosphere in classrooms and use both theory and activity-based teaching to help kids learn better. My interests include singing, dancing, cooking, acting, swimming, writing poetry, and short stories. I make it a point to keep up with new trends and methods in teaching so that I can put them into practice in the classroom as well. I'm currently teaching in a Private International Christian School as a Grade 6 class adviser/form tutor, but I'm also handling classes in Grades 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10. During my stay in this institution, I was able to use and maximize my technical abilities with the different educational platforms we have in school, such as J2e, ClassIn, myOn, Nuadu, and mCourser.
