I am very pleased and interested to use my global interdisciplinary perspective that I have gained in order to expand students’ competitiveness and global belongingness. My name is Paul Pabilico Porras, 26, and a native of Astorga, Dumarao, Capiz, Philippines. I earned my Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English degree on March 2016 from Hercor College, Lawa-an, Roxas City, Philippines. I gained three years of teaching experience at Filamer Christian University in Capiz, Philippines. I am currently teaching in Thailand handling multi-graded classrooms. I believe that my experiences prepared me in handling diverse students. Likewise, it honed me to become optimistic in discovering students’ real fortes and capabilities. I feel confident to provide a learning environment that engages their eagerness to discover things, to learn independently, to be a scientific and critical thinker, and to trust their personal opinions while fostering solidarity among their classmates. I realize how vital education is as the foundation of the young people to achieve success in all undertakings set before them. This is why my greatest goal is to share my perspective with my students whenever possible, with hands-on activities and group participation exercises. I believe that my instructional abilities combined with my work ethics, skills, and strong devotion to educate students would greatly benefit the school's educational programs.
