Hi, I'm Kevin! I was born and raised in Oakland, California (USA). I recently graduated from Columbia University (New York) with a MA in Political Science and participated in the US Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship at the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. Prior to Columbia, I completed a MA in Chinese Linguistics & Literature at San Francisco State University and a BA in Government at Claremont McKenna College. I hold a 250-hour accredited TESOL Diploma from the UNI-Prep Institute. In addition to covering the English teaching fundamentals included a standard 120-hour TESOL Certificate, my TESOL Diploma Program also included modules on teaching Business English, TOEFL, IELTS, and virtual instruction. Taiwan holds a special place in my heart. As such, as an English teacher, I look forward to helping Taiwan become a bilingual nation in the coming years.
