I am a 29 year old ambitious and driven professional who can create value from day one. I have the ability to organise own time, prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail. I enjoy overcoming challenges and what I lack in experience I make up for in ambition and eagerness to learn. I have a passion for teaching and a willingness to go the extra mile in helping others achieve their goals. I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults through community outreach, from working as an ESL teacher in China and working as an assistant teacher here in South Africa. In addition to this, I hold a 120hr TEFL Certificate and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Having modules such as educational psychology and developmental psychology has equipped me with skills such as patience, empathy, clear communication, attentiveness and the ability to relate to children and young adults. skills which are necessary and important for creating a positive and collaborative 21st century learning environment. My educational background and experience will allow me to be effective in taking on a positive and dedicated attitude towards our students. My experience working both in China and South Africa has allowed me to harness these skills as well as to build on the necessary interpersonal skills needed by a teacher and I believe that these skills will allow me to create a conducive and inclusive learning environment for our learners.
