I'm originally from Colombia. I left my home country more than 25 years ago to study, work, and live in  a number of places around the world, most of which were spent in the UK. I love playing sports, watching noir films and documentary films. I trained as a Chef, Thai Masseur, and consider myself to be an emerging artist as well. English teaching has always been the one occupation I find most rewarding. I've taught English in Colombia, Thailand, and Moldova to people of all ages. Through the years I learnt that praising students changes their behaviour more effectively than shouting or punishing. I also learnt that every single student, young or old, is a potential asset to the class.I consider myself to be a fun, perceptive, hard working, and organised teacher. I thoroughly enjoy teaching English and can relate to each of the students in their learning process due to my own English learning experience.  For the above reasons I am looking for a teaching position where I can positively make an impact on each and every student in their learning voyage but also to the school/institution I work for.
