Dear Sir/Madam, my name is Petroula and I am an English language teacher, Artist and global citizen. I was born and raised in the UK so Native English Speaker. I hope you will find my details to be of interest to you, I have experience from primary years to adults and also worked and adapted to many educational programmes. I have lived and worked the last years in China, plus other countries before and also have more than 12 years of professional experience as an Art Director / Artist and designer in London UK and International. I have traveled to numerous countries more than 45, and have worked at schools in Bali, Costa Rica, Japan and latest in China as an English Teacher Combined Arts and with private clients, I love different cultures and helping other people in whatever way I can and have the ability to guide students through choosing a course of study. My teaching philosophy is to identify the strengths of my students and give them space to develop their knowledge in english through their own interests, I believe that to be the way to a solid education today through identifying their strengths and allowing them to flourish in Art, adding needed confidence in the demanding world of our days as responsible human beings with respect to others cultures, our Mother Earth, manners and an overall healthy critical awareness of what life will present them with. My teaching style is direct exposure to English. Creative with rich body language / practical, then they Will expand naturally, I believe I will be an asset to your team and your students. I am also bilingual in Greek, with some Spanish and Italian on the side. As I learned my second language at the age of ten I have a natural empathy in the difficulties that students may face in learning a second language and have developed my own style ‘direct talking techniques and knowledge of the culture, to prepare them to easier integrate in the areas of their interests’ in any English speaking Country.
