I am Crisanto Quijano, 42 years of age, a Filipino Licensed Teacher. I finished my Bachelor of Elementary Education with Elementary English specialization at Philippine Normal University in 2003, and Master of Arts in Education with Reading Specialization at the same institution in 2019. I have been in the service at the Department of Education(DepEd) for 18 years now. Prior to my employment at DepEd, I worked as a volunteer teacher at our Brgy.elementary school where I was assigned in Grade 4 teaching all subject areas. When I was employed at DepEd in 2004, my first assignment was in Grade 3, teaching all subject areas for 12 years. Afterwards, I was assigned as Grade 5 advisor for one school year only, whom I taught Filipino, Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health or (MAPEH), and Values Education subjects in Grades V-VI. At present I am a grade 6 advisor teaching Filipino in grades 4-6, MAPEH in grade 6 students. Aside from teaching, I am appointed to another non-teaching jobs called ancillary positions in our school such as: (former) Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) adviser/Science Club adviser; School-Based Management (SBM)- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in School (WinS) Coordinator; Sepat Takraw Coach; (current) Track and Field coach; Boy Scouts Adult Leaders; Filipino Coordinator; School Paper adviser; Three Acts of Goodness (TAG) focal person: Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) chairperson; School teacher's league auditor and School Heads Academy (SHA) scholar. Currently, I am applying for a job as international teacher in whatever subjects in the elementary grade.
