Hello, My name is Donaven Leong! I have five years of experience teaching English as a foreign language and have worked in countries such as the UK, China, and Japan. I have spent my entire academic life studying in an American and British educational setting, writing and speaking solely in English. I graduated from the University of Nottingham, a British institution that is ranked 18th on the United Kingdom’s QS World University Ranking 2023. There, I studied various courses regarding English literature, linguistics, and education. I am currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. I am a native English speaker who is a Malaysian passport holder. However, I hold an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC). My desire to join your team as a native English language instructor derives from my vision to nurture future leaders with effective communication skills, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. As a way to manifest my vision, I have devoted five years of my professional life to the field of academia and education. I look forward to collaborating and connecting!
