I am a young man from the Kingdom of Eswatini, in possession of a Bachelor of Theology Degree and currently pursuing double Master's degrees (Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and Master of Theology Degree). For the past twelve years, I have been working as an HIV Counselor and Phlebotomist for both Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the Ministry of Health here in the Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly Swaziland (Africa). I have come to develop a great command of public speaking over the years, both as a professional and in volunteer programs. While I might not have the experience as a teacher perse, I have worked closely with the youth as an HIV Counselor and as a Youth Minister at church. As an HIV Counselor, I have headed and implemented youth programs, especially for adolescent girls and young women (AGYW). In these programs, I facilitated health talks and equipped the young girls on economic empowerment and financial management. Part of their economic empowerment involved equipping them with starting and managing sustainable business plans and giving them financial start-ups. Seeing the girls implement these skills and grow both in health and economic awareness brought gratification to my heart. As a Youth Minister, I have been responsible for the development and implementation of annual curriculums for youth lessons to be taught at the youth bible classes at church. I have also served as an interpreter at church, interpreting both from the English Language to vernacular and from vernacular to the English Language. The English Language is virtually my native language as my country only has two languages; English and Siswati. It would be a great honor to contribute my academic skills and knowledge to equip the students in Taiwan with the English Language.
