Good day, everyone! My name is Camille Dayao and I am from the beautiful country of the Philippines. I am an aspiring teacher in the amazing country of Taiwan. I live in Cavite, which is a province just south of Manila, with my parents and a dog named Pachie. I love spending my free time walking my dog, reading books, and taking a relaxing walk in the park. On weekends, I love cooking local Filipino cuisine and even trying out a few foreign recipes! I am experienced in working in different industries, starting in the ever fast-paced field of business processing outsourcing. I’ve worked closely with Americans for different businesses for a total of about 4 years. I then got promoted as a training assistant in charge of doing product training for our new hires and eventually became a lead trainer. Through the years, I worked as an online English teacher for a company founded in Japan named Engoo. The hiring process began with a teaching demonstration and interviews, which eventually led me to start a great adventure and career teaching English. I stayed with them for two fulfilling years and six months, during which I became a favorite among many students coming from countries such as Japan, Korea, Thailand, Spain, Turkey, and even your country, Taiwan! My students came in a wide range of ages, from as young as 5 years old to as wise as 60 years old. A single class typically lasts for 25 minutes, but my students would usually book more than one slot in order to spend more time learning with me. I was allowed to teach English at various levels, which were beginner, intermediate, advanced, proficient, and business English. Consistently patient, versatile, creative, and resourceful. These are just some of the qualities that my students loved about me, which were even supported by Engoo in their letter of recommendation.
