Hi my name is Laurens I graduated with a master's degree in History from Ghent University. Teaching has always been my passion. During my years as a student, I used to work as a teaching assistant. I mainly helped fellow students write their academic papers, on top of this I also taught them how to be better writers and get higher grades. As a Historian, I've always been fascinated by the cultures and languages of Asia. That's why I hope to land a teaching job there. Not only will it be a really interesting experience for me personally it will also be easy for me to communicate with the students as I am already somewhat familiar with their culture and traditions. As a Belgian, I've always had to learn languages since a very young age. In university our professors expected us to be familiar with the three official languages on top of English. So language learning is definitely in my blood. I hope to be able to contribute to your educational system.
