I am writing to express my interest and enthusiasm in applying for the position of English teacher in Taiwan. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT), registered under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines since 2020. I also hold several international teaching credentials, including a TEFL certificate, a C1 English Proficiency Certificate from the British Council English Score, an IELTS Teacher Training Certificate from IDP-IELTS, and a Level I Early Childhood Educator Certificate from the Government of Alberta. Altogether, I have more than five years of teaching experience. Currently, I am working as an English teacher in Vietnam, where I have been teaching for almost two years. This experience has allowed me to further develop my teaching skills and adapt my methods to effectively engage students of different ages and cultural backgrounds. I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate specializing in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health. I previously worked as a College PE instructor for two years, where English was the medium of instruction. Apart from that, I also gained experience as an Online ESL Teacher and tutor for more than a year, teaching students of various ages, from elementary to high school. This helped me strengthen my knowledge not only in teaching English but also in other subjects such as Mathematics, History, and Science. My teaching experience with students from different countries, including Laotian, Vietnamese, and Taiwanese learners, has greatly enhanced my communication and interpersonal skills. These experiences allow me to connect easily with my students, build rapport, and create a positive learning environment where they can feel comfortable, enjoy, and learn effectively. Although I am not an English major, I am confident that my skills, passion, and dedication will enable me to teach my future students holistically and successfully.
