Hi there! My name is Reynalyn Baccay, a licensed professional teacher. My educational background, extensive teaching experience, and dedication to nurturing students' potential align seamlessly with your school's vision, making me a compelling candidate for the position. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in English from Cagayan State University and also passed my Licensure Examination for teachers, 7 months after I graduated. Additionally, I have successfully completed the academic requirements for a Master's Degree in Educational Management at Pacific Intercontinental College. My journey as a teacher is like a roller-coaster ride. It has its ups and downs, but one thing is for sure, I enjoyed the ride. Over nearly eight years in the teaching profession, I’ve experienced instructing a diverse range of students, each with unique learning needs. I always take pride in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for everyone to make sure that learning takes place. During my tenure, I was given a lot of opportunities that made me who I am today. I've taken on multifaceted roles, including serving as an adviser, fostering productive relationships with parents, assuming coordinator responsibilities, and actively engaging in professional development by attending school seminars and training. I was also allowed to train students for spelling and speaking contests. I have been an English Club adviser for two years as well, a particularly rewarding experience. Our commitment to enhancing students’ language skills and fostering a love for English goes beyond the four walls of the classroom. Every English month, we organize and offer a diverse range of engaging activities and initiatives that not only promote linguistic proficiency but also encourage creativity and cultural awareness. Aside from that, I was also awarded the title of “Outstanding Teacher” for three consecutive years. Being awarded with such a title is the fruit of all the tiresome days and countless nights just so I can deliver. It reaffirms that I’m not just doing my job, but I am fulfilling my purpose as an educator. Having experienced a lot of things in the field has further ignited my determination to continue doing what I love, and that is teaching. As I’ve come to love teaching more and more, I want to step out of my comfort zone. I believe that embracing change and pursuing fresh horizons is a natural part of personal and professional development. I am confident that my substantial background in the field of education demonstrates my qualifications and strengths.
