My seven years’ experience of teaching English in the public school and 5 months of teaching basic and business English to both young and adult Chinese learners online in 51talk, have enabled me to hone and practice my communication skills. Additionally, I also have one-year experience as a social worker in the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), functioning the duty of a Community Empowerment Facilitator (CEF), has molded me to become a well-rounded person especially in terms of dealing with complex problems. Through these experiences, I also learned a lot on how to facilitate and handle people with diverse backgrounds from different walks of life.
