Hello! I am Deborah Laing, I'm a 25-year-old native of South Africa. I have three years of teaching experience, I am a kind, empathetic and patient teacher. I strive to constantly calm my students down and let them know that repeating a lesson is not failure; it is simply the process of learning a language because, as I know, learning a language can be extremely intimidating. With my passion for teaching, experience in ESL/TEFL instruction, and dedication to providing high-quality education, I believe I would be a valuable addition to your team. I have a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a TEFL certificate, along with over three years of teaching experience in primary schools. My previous roles have allowed me to develop strong lesson planning and delivery skills, as well as the ability to evaluate student progress and provide guidance for improvement. I am also experienced in organizing student activities and participating in school-based competitions and events. In addition to my teaching experience, I have a background in sales and customer service, which has honed my communication and interpersonal skills. I am a responsible, reliable, and punctual individual who is passionate and energetic about teaching. I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for my students.
