Hello, I'm Cindy Cabrera from the Philippines, and I'm 23 years old. I am a licensed teacher with a degree in Elementary Education. While my professional teaching experience is limited, I bring a strong educational background and a deep passion for teaching. I believe in a holistic and student-centered approach, emphasizing the growth of emotional, social, and ethical development. Although I'm at the beginning of my teaching journey, I still remember my practice teaching experience—it was the most beautiful experience I've had. I practiced teaching in a private setting for three months and one month in a public school. It was a great experience; I met a lot of different students, got to know them, learned their likes and dislikes, and heard their stories and experiences in life. I had the chance to understand one of my students, what was behind those behaviors and absences. It was really heartbreaking, and I couldn't stop crying; at such a young age, they experienced things that should never happen to them. Knowing their stories made me realize that teaching is truly my calling. I learned a lot from my practice teaching; it helped me grow, understand, and develop patience in teaching. I realized that we should not judge our students right away if they behave in a wrong way; we just have to understand and know our students. Learning is a two-way street—they learn from me, and I learn from them. I am actively seeking a teaching position in Taiwan where I can contribute my skills and enthusiasm for education. I am eager to bring my passion for teaching to a dynamic educational environment. I am particularly drawn to Taiwan's rich culture and commitment to education. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to a collaborative and student-centered learning environment. I am excited about the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience, contribute positively to the educational community, and connect with fellow educators who share a similar passion.
