Born and raised in the United Kingdom, I have recently graduated from a BA Marketing degree with First-Class (4.0 GPA equivalent) Honours. I am seeking opportunities around Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung where I can utilise my experience as a Full-Time Native English Cambridge Curriculum Teacher in Tainan, Taiwan. While working as a Cambridge Curriculum teacher, I gained experience teaching Pre-A1- B2 level students, as well as creating lessons plans; managing classrooms; grading assignments; and administering speaking tests in line with an internationally recognised curriculum. Moreover, I was responsible for introducing and onboarding the school to Virtual Learning Environments, so that admin tasks could be streamlined and students could receive help and engage in a dialogue with teachers. I believe that ensuring students are intrinsically motivated is key to teaching English, especially for young learners. Therefore, my desire is to leverage my travel experience and creative interests to build a classroom environment in which students are excited to learn English. Beyond education, I enjoy creative subjects, like photography, graphic design and digital painting. Moreover, I enjoy sports and I frequent the gym.
