I am a licensed teacher with 9 years of teaching experience here in the Philippines as a grade school teacher in which I handled subjects like Social Studies, Math, Science, and Filipino. I was affiliated with Assumption College, in the City of Makati for close to 6 years where I had experiences in forming students to be the best version of themselves. I was given the assignment as a homeroom teacher where I got to employ classroom management techniques and different teaching trends and pedagogies like Brain-based Learning, Visible Thinking Routines, Experiential Learning, Project-based learning, and Understanding Backward Design among others. In Assumption College, I taught Filipino subject to Grade 5 students whose first language was English. This has given me the opportunity to teach students a language that is not their cup of tea. In terms of professional development, I have earned 33- units for the Educational Management degree at Polytechnic University of the Philippines which I started taking in 2019. Currently, I am affiliated with Everest International Academy. This is an international school belonging to the network of Semper Altius schools located in over 20 countries worldwide. I'm handling Math and Science plus an assignment as a Grade 5 Homeroom teacher. I take pride in my qualities as a teacher which has been further honed by experience and intertwined with the good values inculcated to me by my parents' upbringing. I am a good collaborator and a team player. I practice a growth mindset which has helped me in a lot of aspects. In teaching, I am passionate about giving my best for the benefit of my students.
