I have a Bachelor of Education degree from South Africa (but now in Xizhi district, New Taipei) and 17 years teaching experience. I have taught English Home Language and First Additional language thus understanding the value of preparing lessons that are tailored for individual classes. Yearly, planned and presented English lessons to a maximum of 5 classes consisting of at least 25 learners. I am able to handle administrative duties and effectively maintain order in the classroom. Time management is important but so is creating a warm and vibrant classroom atmosphere through using various teaching aids to enhance each lesson. I am kind, passionate, punctual and a team player. I now wish to share my passion and love for teaching with elementary students simply because I enjoy grammar and story telling. I also journal and this makes writing an integral part of my teaching philosophy.
