Ni hao, My name is Brylyn Flores-Ocba, and I am from the Philippines. I have been teaching for 8 years in a K12 Classroom Setting. I would describe myself as dynamic, self-disciplined, resourceful, calm and friendly. I love learning new things and is passionate about teaching and finds joy working with students. I am thrilled at the prospect of sharing my knowledge and experience with students from different backgrounds and cultures. I firmly believe that language learning is a transformative experience that opens doors and creates opportunities for personal growth and development. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher, Licensed Chemical Technician and hold the Career Civil Service Professional designation in the Philippines. In addition, I have acquired online certifications of TEFL to further enhance my teaching skills and qualifications. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Furthermore, I have earned units in Secondary Education majoring in Physical Science and in pursuit of higher education, I have finished Master of Arts in Educational Management. I had an experience teaching children and adult in an online setting, providing them with a range of techniques to enhance their English proficiency and boost their confidence. I incorporate teaching aids such as pictures, realia, and educational toys into each lesson to facilitate effective learning and helped students learn to speak, read and write the English Language. Moreover, I coached students and won in Literary Contests for Journalism, Oratorical Composition and Presentation, Jingle Writing and Singing. I am excited to share my experiences and training and I am confident that I possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role of a foreign English teacher.
