Hello, everyone! I am Bernadeth Peregrino and I am passionate about education, with 8 years of experience shaping young minds as a junior high school teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a specialization in English, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to inspire and educate students effectively. My teaching odyssey commenced humbly as a tutor in a tutorial center, where I nurtured students from early childhood to Grade 10, laying the foundation for their academic growth. Transitioning into a role as a reviewer for aspiring medical students seeking entry into the field of medicine, I honed my instructional abilities and dedication to guiding learners towards their goals. Before assuming my current position as a permanent teacher at the Department of Education, I devoted a year to voluntary teaching, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and holistic education. In my teaching role, I have had the privilege of instructing students across various subjects, including English, Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health, catering to the diverse needs of learners in Grades 7-10. Notably, during the challenging times of the pandemic, I embraced the role of an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher, providing valuable language skills to Chinese students and fostering cross-cultural understanding through education. In my classroom, I strive to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. My commitment to student success, coupled with my versatile teaching experience, enables me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each learner, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
