Dear Hiring Manager, My name is Samantha. My students call me Ms. Samantha. I’m 30 years old. I am from Jamaica where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources and a minor in International Relations. I have also completed my 120 hours TEFL Certificate from the TEFL PDI company based in England, with high distinction. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in education and will complete my studies in 2026. My native language is English. I have been teaching English in China for over six years. I have experience teaching students ages 2 and older, ranging from Kindergarten level to University level and working adults. I absolutely love teaching. I have gained a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Chinese culture and now I am ready to begin a new journey. I am quite intrigued about the Chinese culture and would want to become more fully immersed into the way of life of the Chinese. A good way for me to do this is continuing my role as an English Teacher. My students always come first and they always enjoy having me as their English Teacher because I am energetic, hardworking and responsible and I like to use fun methods to teach my lessons.
