Hello. My name is Joana Mae Rolando. I am a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines. In 2011, I graduated from Palawan State University with the degree Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Driven by my passion for education, I earned my Professional Teaching Certification at University of the Philippines in 2021. Thankfully, I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2023 with a high rating. Regarding my work experience, my previous role as a regulatory compliance specialist involves conduct of continuing education and training program. I contributed to the development of Data Privacy Training modules and delivered these training sessions across the organization, online and face to face. With diverse audiences ranging from senior management to customer-facing employees, I learned to adapt my communication style. Additionally, I am responsible in the preparation and submission of reports on crimes and losses to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, which requires English language as medium of communication. These experiences have significantly honed my communication skills and made me adept in using English language for all professional interactions, from providing instruction to executing directives – all transferrable to the classroom. I bring a combination of strong communication skills and dedication, which align well with the requirements for English Teacher position. In conclusion, I am excited about the opportunity to teach in Taiwan. I believe that my diverse background, skill set and experiences makes me an ideal candidate.
