My name is Czarina Lei Cumlat, and I am a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Philippine Normal University – North Luzon, the National Center for Teacher Education in the Philippines. My teaching journey began in high school during my work immersion as an assistant teacher, and it continued through my teaching internship and most recently as a Lead Social Science Teacher. I’ve taught a wide range of subjects including World History, Contemporary Issues, Understanding Culture, Society, and Politics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Philosophy, and Values Education, across both primary and secondary levels. I believe in the power of connecting academic content to real-life issues to help students not only learn but also think critically, reflect deeply, and grow into responsible, empathetic citizens. My teaching approach integrates values education, performance-based tasks, and 21st-century skills, with a strong emphasis on inquiry, relevance, and student engagement. Outside the classroom, I’ve served as a student leader and performing arts adviser, supporting holistic growth through leadership, collaboration, and creativity. Currently, I am seeking an opportunity to teach in a school that values character formation, global citizenship, and meaningful learning, where I can continue to grow professionally and contribute positively to a diverse learning community.
