Hi, there! Good day! My name is Jean Paula Asis, but you can call me Teacher Pau. I’m 24 years old and I am from the Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained a solid foundation in effective communication, in-depth understanding of literary traditions and cultural contexts, teaching strategies, and practical classroom management techniques. I have also gained practical experience in teaching as a student teacher and as a personal tutor. As an educator, I have always been passionate about language learning and teaching. During my student teaching experience at Hinlayagan National High School, I taught English 8, Mathematics 9, and Science 7, allowing me to develop effective teaching strategies across multiple disciplines. I also served as a private tutor for young children, where I used creative, play-based approaches to foster foundational learning. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability and patience in handling diverse student needs and learning styles. I am eager to become part of Taiwan’s Bilingual 2030 goal. It would be a great honor for an educator like me to part of such grand goal that could someday bring a historic moment in Taiwan’s education system. I believe that with my background in English education and dedication to student-centered learning, I can contribute meaningfully to helping young learners gain confidence and fluency in using English in real-life situations. It would be a great honor to work alongside educators in Taiwan and support your mission of creating a more globally connected generation.
