Introduce yourself :
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines, blessed with over 12 years of teaching in the public school system, where I have devoted my career to opening young minds to the wonders of Science. Every day, I have the privilege of guiding curious hands and eager hearts — whether we are exploring how our senses work together to experience the world or watching a seed sprout into life.
My love for teaching is deeply tied to my own love for learning. From childhood, I found joy in stories — not only from books, but also from the vivid worlds of anime and heartwarming films. These stories taught me about empathy, perseverance, and hope. They showed me that lessons are not only found in classrooms but also in the beauty of human connection and the courage to dream. That same storytelling magic is something I strive to bring into my lessons, making science not just a subject to study, but a story to live and feel.
Over the years, I have been honored with national recognition for my work — co-authoring a Grade 5 Science module, and creating award-winning Strategic Intervention Materials and Science Investigatory Projects. Yet, what I treasure most is not the recognition itself, but the spark in a child’s eyes when they understand something for the first time, or the pride they feel when they realize they can succeed.
Beyond the classroom, I actively engage in the community through programs that champion environmental sustainability, disaster preparedness, and reading recovery — projects like Project Malasakit, Gawad Siyentista, and One Book, One Child. I also conduct action research to address real learning challenges, particularly in early literacy and inquiry-based science instruction.
Currently, I am completing my Master of Arts in Education, majoring in Biological Science. My dream now is to bring my classroom expertise, leadership experience, and cultural perspective to an international stage — especially in Japan, whose culture has inspired me for so long. I hope to share not only my skills in teaching, but also my heart for building bridges across cultures, showing students that learning is not just about facts, but about finding wonder, kindness, and connection in the world around us.
