About Me
Hi, my name is Tapiwa. Helping people express themselves clearly and confidently in English is my focus. I create calm space, set simple patterns, and guide steady practice so students can find a clear voice and use it in real situations.
I have experience supporting primary schools in Australia as a special education teacher aide. I worked alongside lead teachers to run small groups and one to one support for Prep to Year 6. I supported learners with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, hearing impairment, and speech language impairment. I followed school policies, took part in regular professional learning, and used clear routines, scaffolding, sentence frames, and quick checks to keep students on task and growing in confidence. I collaborated with teachers and families to meet learning goals and to build thoughtful risk taking.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Architecture and experience in business development within the architecture and construction space. That work trained me to gather requirements, translate complex ideas into simple steps, present information in plain language, and follow through with care. I apply the same habits in class by setting a clear objective, mapping workable steps, using visuals, and checking understanding before independent practice.
Value I bring to your classroom
• More student talk time through structured pair work, role play, and clear models
• Smoother lessons with ready to use materials, steady routines, and fast setup
• Practical differentiation with scaffolds, sentence frames, and small group support
• Inclusion support for learners with individual needs and respectful behaviour guidance
• Clear communication with teachers and families through concise notes and updates
• Reliable follow through on plans, resources, and supervision so the lead teacher can teach
I aim to build a classroom that is professional, patient, and welcoming, so students can express themselves clearly and confidently. I collaborate with teachers and families, bring ready to use materials, and set clear steps that move learning forward.
