Hi! I'm Jemarie Magliwanas Suan, but you can call me Teacher Jem.. I’m a licensed professional teacher with a degree in English Education, and I have acquired TESOL, TEFL, TESL, and TEYL certificates. I’ve taught students of various nationalities of all ages— including Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, and Turkish— both in office-based and home-based settings for almost six years now. I've also experience teaching in a physical classroom as a substitute private teacher at Thompson Christian School for about six months. As an office based and home-based tutor, I consistently rank as one of the top tutors and handled different overseas accounts. I was also honored to be invited as a judge during the Reading Month celebration at MAA National High School—one of the prominent public schools in my city. The event assessed learners' reading skills through engaging activities and competitions. To me, teaching—both in the private sector and in ESL—is a truly remarkable journey. As an English teacher who enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities, I’m also fond of cooking, singing, dancing, listening to music, camping, and hiking. I really love exploring the world and sharing my passion for teaching in ways that inspire and influence learners, like you.
