I have worked across both community-based and university learning environments. In the NPO sector, I spent six months supporting an after-school and early childhood development programme, working with children aged 3 to 18. My responsibilities included reading storybooks to younger learners to strengthen early literacy, assisting older children with daily homework tasks, and creating a safe, supportive learning space that encouraged confidence and academic growth. At university level, I taught both theoretical and practical modules at the University of the Free State, where I facilitated learning for students from diverse backgrounds, supported their academic development, and contributed to curriculum delivery and assessment. Across both settings, I have developed strong skills in learner support, communication, and inclusive teaching.
