Hello, my name is Mary Rose C. Palang, a 27-year-old licensed professional teacher from the Philippines. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English, from President Ramon Magsaysay State University. My professional journey began in the BPO industry, where I communicated daily with native English speakers from the United States. This experience sharpened my fluency, strengthened my confidence, and taught me how to connect meaningfully across cultures. Later, I pursued my passion for teaching as an ESL tutor across Asia—including Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Taiwan, and through online platforms like 51Talk—where I taught learners of all ages and adapted to diverse educational needs. I am recognized for my classroom management, creativity, empathy, and ability to design engaging, inclusive lessons that make learning joyful and memorable. Inspired by Taiwan’s vision to become a bilingual nation by 2030, I am eager to contribute to this movement by fostering a love for English and empowering students to use the language confidently in real-life situations. My teaching philosophy is simple: make English learning joyful, relevant, and empowering. I want my students to feel curious, confident, and ready to embrace global opportunities. My ultimate goal is to inspire growth, celebrate progress, and help learners become confident English speakers prepared for the future.
