Hello there! I am Ben Harold Cortes, a licensed professional teacher with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the Philippines and a qualified English teacher who has completed a 120-hour TESOL program. I have been in the industry of ESL (English as a Second Language) for nearly 8 years. My experience molded me to become an effective and reliable teacher. Moreover, it helped me to fully understand learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I believe that learning is FUN. So, as much as possible, I engage students in various activities that supplements the lesson. In this way, learners would have the chance to interact with others, share ideas, be part of the group, and be confident in themselves. In addition, I consider myself an enthusiastic, optimistic, flexible, friendly, and a very passionate educator. I love playing basketball, sketching, painting, reading, and creating handicrafts that will pop up in my mind. As a creative individual, it is easy for me to integrate my passion for designing, sketching, and painting and my knowledge using Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations to supplement my teaching methodologies.
